Sophia Ross Alvarez is a singer, actor, dancer, and voice over artist. She was born a Navy brat by the sea, and has since lived in numerous locations across America, from San Diego to Washington D.C.! 

 

This May she will be graduating with her B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Some of her favorite recent projects include the Conservatory's production of City of Angels, playing the Angel City Four Soprano (video clip below), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with New Bedford Festival Theatre. 

 

Additionally, she adores diving into new work, having done so with longtime friend and composer Paul Hardin (see "College Creek" and "Check Me Out" videos below). She also participated in a workshop of new musical The Mountain and Her Mortals at BOCO in the spring of 2023.

 

In addition to performing, Sophia loves children and has previously worked as a camp counselor and math tutor. She is now starting to teach and coach voice privately after studying vocal pedagogy this year at Berklee, and looks forward to helping singers explore and expand their voice!
